ASTM A240 201/202 stainless channel steel has good form-ability and corrosion resistance,ASTM A240 201 stainless channel steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel-manganese stainless steel which was developed to conserve nickel. 201 is a lower cost alternative to conventional Cr-Ni stainless steels such as 301 and 304. ASTM A240 202 stainless channel steel is a type of Cr-Ni-Mn stainless with similar properties to 302 stainless steel. The toughness of grade 202 at low temperatures is excellent.
