DIN17100 specification St37-2 low carbon angle steel is provided with three types of surface treatment like galvanized, black or pre-painting. Owing to its chemical content, ST37-2 doesn't have corrosive resistance as A588 and will get rusty within few days. Hence, hot-dip galvanized or pre-painting is often engaged to protecting the steel from corrosion.
