A709 Grade HPS 100W angle steel is a high strength low alloy structural carbon steel used in building bridge projects. HPS 100W has been found to have higher toughness, better weldability and better predicted atmospheric corrosion behavior (weathering) than the current grade ASTM A709 Grade 100W.
